CERTIFICATION

The institute for the protection of Italian Manifacturers has developed a regulation system.
It allows the companies that produce total Italian goods to obtain a certification and to use the following distinguishing signs.

ACCORDING TO THE IT01 SYSTEM 100% ITALIAN QUALITY
THE COMPANIES THAT WANT TO CERTIFY THEIR PRODUCTIONS MUST PRESENT THE FOLLOWING REFERENCES:

1. One's own trademark
2. totally manufactured in Italy
3. made with high quality, natural and first choice materials
4. created with exclusive and unique models
5. made by using the traditional crafmanship Italian manufacturing process

PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR THE CERTIFICATION SYSTEM
“MADE IN ITALY 100% CERTIFICATE”

1.firms apply to this procedure presenting their references
2.temporary approval
3.authorization to use the distinguishing signs
4.signature of the regulation system.
5.Decision of the technical and scientific commitiee and enrollment at the National Register of Italian Manufacturers

TO RETAILERS

CERTIFICATION

For a long time goods manufactured in Italy are provided with a certification. It guarantees high quality standards and the 100% made in Italy production.
Thanks to this certification the retailer is sure of the authentic Italian origin of the product that he is buying. The Institute guarantees the authentic Italian origin only of those goods that present its distinguishing signs.

DISTINGUISHING SIGNS

The most important identifying symbol is the burgundy sign on a white background or the white MADE IN ITALY 100% CERTIFICATE sign on a burgundy background.
The distinguishing sign is always followed by the code number and the anti-imitation brand.
The is a brand that stands for the enrollment of the Italian trademark at the
National Register of Italian Manufacturers. It is set next to or in the place of the ® that stands for Registered.
The retailer can get the shop window tags, price labels and stickers from his certified supplier. This request will not involve further costs.

Each retailer can check the authentic Italian origin of a company's trademark or of a certified product by visiting the website www.madeinitaly.org
This testing process can be carried out by dialing the code number placed on the tag or label of the product.

TO CONSUMERS

CERTIFICATION

In order to guarantee to the consumer the authentic quality and origin of the Italian product, the Institute has introduced the 100% Made in Italy certificate.
All the goods presenting the 100% made in Italy distinguishing sign can be considered an authentic Italian product.
Only retailers who only have the 100% made in Italy shop window tags, price labels and stickers are allowed to sell the real Italian product.
